… everything I predicted last week is starting to be proved right… which bodes really well for our readers’ profit margins…
This time last Thursday I was riding high on Red Bull and adrenalin. I’d been woken up ridiculously early by my broker friend in Kuala Lumpur: “ China’s going off like a rocket… and Vietnam’s next” he said. It was the news I’d been expecting… and waiting for. I instantly issued profit alerts to my readers.
What Had Happened?
Well, China had just slashed the tax on share trading and the markets had taken off. And they’ve kept going. The benchmark Shanghai A-Share Index has soared by 12.7% since then. And with China’s markets taking off, we have seen most of the other Asian markets stabilise as well. What has changed across China and most of Asia is sentiment.
And as I pointed out:
“…when sentiment turns, you can almost be dead certain that Vietnam’s market is going to get a bounce as well. It’s fallen by more than 50 per cent already….But, right now, I can’t really see a market that looks better.”
Vietnam ’s market has moved up since then. We think that there is more to come. And in the other emerging Asian giant, India’s Bombay Sensex Index is up by about 4% since China’s rebound began.
The big question is: will it last? I think it will. A rebound in Asia seemed overdue to us. The region’s markets had seen falls that simply weren’t justified given how strongly their economies are growing.
I’m not predicting an immediate turnaround from bust to boom in the Asian markets overnight just because of China’s rate cut. The turbulence could carry on for a while longer. But I believe that we have already seen the worst in Asia’s markets.
It’s a good time to get back in… the market’s have already started to shift… and if you want in on what is still the ground floor… you have to act now.
